Columbus Shooting Stars
Columbus Shooting Stars were an American soccer team, founded in 2003, and was a member of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, for just one season. They remained a franchise during the 2004 season, but did not play a game, and left the league and when the franchise was terminated at the end of that year.
They played their home games at Columbus Crew Stadium in the city of Columbus, Ohio, which they shared with Major League Soccer franchise Columbus Crew. The team's colors were red, white and blue.
